This coming Saturday, January 23 Councilman Blumenfield (with Fleet Street help) will be hosting the third annual West Valley Community Bike Ride (weather permitting). Fleet Street will arrive about 8:30 and the ride itself will be from 9:30 to 10:30. The meeting location is 18238 Sherman Way (rear parking lot of Magnolia Science Academy). We could use some volunteers to promote the Club, and distribute oranges and bananas and just be cool (we could also use someone to coordinate this). For those of you who want to ride, you are obviously welcome to do so and there is no cost. I do not know the exact course, but it is probably in the 7 or 8 mile range. We expect that some of the boys from the Lodge will also ride. Guaranteed fun. |
