Many of our members participated in the Peace Walk at Cal Lutheran University Village on Sunday, September 11.

Long time Rotarian Surinder Singh is being honored by the Hippolyte Foundation for giving his time and heart to the poor families in our community and internationally. Congratulations Surinder!

Our next live auction will be held at our September 21 meeting. Please bring in items to help raise money for our club.
Please take note that our Rotary Club will only be promoting fundraising events when Rotary is the recipient of the proceeds. Also, only Rotary events in general will be promoted. Check with me first if you are unsure if your event should be promoted at our club. I appreciate everyone’s cooperation in this matter. This will go into effect for all events on October 1 and beyond.

Our First Annual Halloween Family Faire is nearing on October 29th. We will need help decorating the park and setting up on Friday October 28. Please keep October 29 free so you can volunteer at one of our game booths, activity booths, contests, and many more! We need help with photography at our “photo booth.” We’ll be tracking photos taken and collecting emails addresses for a future mailing list. Thank you to Jay Saltzman and the committee of many that are working diligently to make this a success!
