In 2016, Optimist merged with Pacific Lodge Services making the organization the largest residential probation provider in California
Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services (OYHFS) is one of the oldest child-welfare-focused organizations in Los Angeles County, welcomes Todd Sosna, Ph.D., as its new CEO on January 3, 2022. Dr. Sosna will guide the organization in its critical mission to support children, youth, and families who have experienced significant trauma to achieve bright futures.
