Congratulations on a great team effort and remember Team Work Makes the Dream Work. Special thank you to this month’s MVP, Karen Schnee, for stepping into a bigger role and giving our members a way to practice Service Above Self. All Star Paul Gross has arranged for Topanga Division LAPD Officers of the Year to participate in a special ceremony on January 8. This has always been a favorite event for our club and now has been expanded to include the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Members from our club woke up a a little sore from a successful Seaside Splash & Dash event on August 24. This annual District picnic united members and their guests for fellowship and some friendly competition. The cardboard boat race was fun to watch and the entries for the Stadium Food Showdown were delicious. This year they added a photo booth and Kids Fun Zone.
